Drive & Dine / Mine Detection Dog Potomac

PCA Potomac Winter Community Service Campaign to sponsor a Mine Detection Dog named 'Potomac'!
As dog lovers and admirers of these great creatures, when we heard about the Marshall Legacy Institute and the work they do using dogs to alleviate suffering and promote hope, growth, and stability in war-torn countries, how could we resist?!?! Many of us are dog lovers, and living in and around the nation's capital, it is natural to feel more connected to our larger world.
The Mine Detection Dog Partnership Program provides highly trained explosive-sniffing dogs to the neediest of countries, and trains local handlers to safely & effectively employ the lifesaving dogs. The program utilizes private donations to purchase, train, deliver dogs and ensure their ongoing quality of life.
PLUS, if we sponsor a dog, we get to NAME THE DOG! It will be so wonderful to see a furry member of the Potomac community saving lives around the world.
